We are going apple picking in Gagetown, NB on Thursday, October 3rd. If you would like to volunteer and come along, please send me a note. Thank you to the SRS Parent Involvement Committee for covering the cost of this trip! Each child will need to bring a packed snack and lunch that day and dress for the weather. It is going to be great!
Tuesday, September 24th is National Punctuation Day! Celebrate with us and use your punctuation!
We have begun a cool unit on Mapping Skills. Check out the Grade 3 Explorers page to find out what we have been learning. I added some photos of students hard at work!
Homework begins today, please check your child's bookbag for their duo-tang. The routine will be that the homework duo-tang will be sent home on Monday, to be returned on Friday. Please help us with this routine as Miss McKinley and I are preparing 22 student's homework books. If you have any questions after reading the covering letter, please don't hesitate to ask!
What a super bunch of students I have in my class this year with 22 students and Miss McKinley as our Educational Assistant. I appreciate the promptness of parents returning the completed information sheets and permission slips thus far. It is helpful to have them returned to ensure our information is current.
Please keep an eye on our web site as I will work hard to keep everyone up to date on our activities and learning experiences. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email or call the school.
Mrs. Duff and her students will keep you posted on what we are up to!
