At our Fun Fitness assembly on Friday, we had a special guest, Miss Viola Swamp from the book, Miss Nelson is Missing. She shared a story she wrote and announced how each month a student from each class will be videotaped reading one of their own pieces of writing. WOW Writing stands for Wonderful Outstanding Writing! Who will be representing our grade three students this month? Will it be you?
We had a wonderful time celebrating the children's work at our Author's Celebration on Friday. The children researched and wrote their own non-fiction books. They are amazing! Check out photos under the Literacy tab.
Mrs. Carey and I would like to thank you for your meeting with us for Parent Teacher interviews. We had a great response and appreciate wether or not you wrote a comment on the back of the envelope, sent an email, had a meeting or are coming next week to see us. Your support of your children is evident and appreciated.

We have learned so much about our beautiful province of New Brunswick! We have learned about each city and what the area has to offer, as well as created an amazing music video to the song 'Dont' Drive Through' by David Myles. We ae having a music video release party this week! We are also having a test on Friday. Study cards are coming home to help prepare. Looking through the page under Grade 3 Explorers would also be helpful in preparing. If they get misplaced, feel free to print another page at home. Check for it on the NB
On Friday, March 21st, we enjoyed a singing group called Razmataz from Halifax, NS. Some of our students got to participate! Way to go!!
On Wednesday, we were treated to a wonderful presentation from a visitor from the Acadian Village in northern New Brunswick. We learned so many things about the way of life in NB two hundred and fifty years ago. Ask your child about what they learned!
