Places to use Commas:
* After a long introduction.
Example: If you won't say it, I will!

There is always a comma in a sentence when any these words below are in it! Really...check it out!
(As, After Although, When, While, Whether, Until, Unless, Because, Before, If, Since)
Example: After a while, Susan's legs became tired from the run.
* City, Province (or State)
Example: Saint John, New Brunswick
* After an introductory word or phrase.
Example: Hey, stop that screaming!
* In a letter
Example: Dear Sally, and Sincerely, Molly
* Listing items
Example: I went camping and packed my tent, sleeping bag, lantern, matches, hatchet, and cooler full of yummy food.
* Seperate parts of a sentence (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)
Example: I was very late for the birthday party, but I didn't miss the cake and ice-cream!
