Mapping Skills Learning Centres
Here we are working in co-operative groups to practice and learn mapping skills. In groups, students rotated through 5 centres.
Station 1: Matching map items with their meanings and gluing the matched pairs in our Learning Logs. The list is below! Station 2: Computer activities that you will find above on this page. Station 3: Students read and explored the book; Follow That Map! A First Book of Mapping Skills. Station 4: Students made a compass rose with available supplies. Station 5: Students created a map of our school: create a 'bird's eye view' of our school from the outside. |
